What the PDF contains
The picture goes onto a single PDF page at its original pixel size — nothing is scaled. Inside the PDF it is saved again as a JPEG at standard quality, so a small extra loss is possible (usually invisible) and the file can end up lighter than the original. It is still the same picture in a document wrapper: the format many upload forms, signature tools and print shops accept where a bare image is refused.
It stays an image inside the page. There is no OCR, so text on a photographed document does not become selectable or searchable — it remains part of the picture. If you need real text, you need a document that was born as text, not a photo of one.
One image, one PDF
Each JPG you upload becomes its own one-page PDF. Merging several photos into a single multi-page document is not part of this tool — if you send three images you get three PDFs, not one.
Because the source is a single frame, the result is always exactly one page. For a multi-page document assembled from scans, a dedicated PDF editor is the better fit.
Common questions
Can I combine several photos into one PDF?
Not here — each image is converted to its own one-page PDF. Merging multiple images into a single document is a separate operation this tool does not do yet.
Will the text in my scanned document be selectable?
No. The photo is placed into the page as an image; there is no OCR, so any text stays part of the picture and cannot be selected or searched.
Does converting to PDF reduce quality?
The pixel size is kept, but inside the PDF the picture is written again as a JPEG at standard quality. On a photo or scan the difference is usually hard to notice, and your original JPG stays with you.
